2014, Painting Objects: What is a canvas? Does it taste good with jam?

The installation consists of a grid of small canvases that cover a wall of the gallery. From a distance, the shadows create hints of a painted image hidden on the back of the canvases. The work is about an alternative experience to looking at a painting: the material form of the painting is light. In addition, since the image will not be directly visible, viewers are forced to question how important the imagery is to the work.
